About our client:

Our client is a global leader in automotive, committed to delivering innovative solutions to our clients. We are seeking a highly an experienced Facility Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client’s facilities.

Job Summary:

As a Facility Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our client’s facilities. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the overall functioning of our client’s industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Maintenance:
    • Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities for the industrial facility.
    • Schedule and supervise routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective facility services.
    • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service contracts.

  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections.

  • Space Planning and Utilization:
    • Coordinate space planning activities to optimize facility layout and utilization.
    • Manage office relocations and expansions as necessary.

  • Utilities Management:
    • Monitor and manage utility services, including electricity, water, and waste disposal.
    • Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs.

  • Emergency Response:
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
    • Coordinate drills and training to ensure a prepared and responsive team.

  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities and expenses.
    • Prepare regular reports on facility performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a facility coordination or management role in the industrial sector.
  • Knowledge of industrial facility systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
