Facing an important business growth, our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Purchaser to join its dynamic team.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in negotiations, vendor management, and supply chain optimization. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our client’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing:
    • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the company's procurement needs.
    • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

  • Vendor Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
    • Conduct regular supplier assessments, addressing performance issues and ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.

  • Cost Negotiation:
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand budget constraints and recommend cost-effective solutions.

  • Procurement Process Oversight:
    • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Market Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and supplier dynamics.
    • Conduct market analyses to identify potential risks and opportunities.

  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and logistics, to align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the procurement team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management in the industrial sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
