Job Description:

As a Project Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our client’s manufacturing operations, focusing on project management and process optimization. The successful candidate will possess strong engineering knowledge, project management skills, and hands-on experience, with a preference for those who have worked in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
  • Lead and manage manufacturing projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction within manufacturing operations.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance overall operational performance.

• Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality issues.

• Technical Expertise:
  • Apply engineering principles and expertise to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.

• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a preference for experience in the automotive sector.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
