Job Description:

As the Manager of Advanced Product Development, you will lead and oversee a team dedicated to bringing groundbreaking products to market.

The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, a track record of successful product development, and significant managerial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide strong leadership to the Advanced Product Development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organizational objectives.

• Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the strategic vision for Advanced Product Development.
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap and align it with broader organizational goals.

• Project Oversight:
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments.

• Innovation Management:
• Drive innovation within the team by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and creativity.

• Budget Management:
  • Manage the budget for Advanced Product Development, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing advanced products to market.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and product development methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate complex challenges and make strategic decisions.
