Job Summary:

As a Junior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, assisting in various accounting functions and contributing to the financial management of our industrial operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for industrial operations.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.

• Account Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Expense Reporting:
  • Support the preparation of expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in analyzing expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Bilingual Communication:
  • Communicate effectively in both French and English with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Translate financial documents and reports as needed.

• Industrial Sector Focus:
  • Develop an understanding of financial processes specific to the industrial field.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations relevant to accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluent in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong interest in the industrial sector and willingness to learn industry-specific accounting practices.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
