Job Summary:
As an HR Learning & Development Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the company’s workforce.
You will work closely with HR, department managers, and employees to identify training needs and deliver effective solutions that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Analysis:
- Collaborate with department heads and employees to conduct thorough training needs assessments.
- Identify skill gaps and learning objectives to tailor development programs accordingly.
- Program Design and Development:
- Develop engaging and effective learning programs, including workshops, online courses, and on-the-job training.
- Utilize various instructional design methodologies to create materials that align with adult learning principles.
- Training Delivery:
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually.
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and up-to-date content delivery.
- Evaluation and Feedback:
- Implement evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve learning initiatives.
- Learning Technology Management:
- Oversee the administration and utilization of learning management systems (LMS).
- Stay informed about advancements in learning technologies and recommend tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Career Development Support:
- Collaborate with HR to create career development pathways and programs.
- Provide guidance to employees on professional development opportunities and resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in learning and development roles, preferably within an HR context.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and other training tools.
