Job Summary:

As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating our client’s environmental, health, and safety programs.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulations, promote a culture of safety, and contribute to the overall well-being of the employees. Proficiency in both German and English is essential for effective communication with diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay informed about relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations in both Germany and internationally.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and standards.

• Safety Programs:
  • Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

• Incident Response:
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents and ensure timely reporting as required.

• Training and Awareness:
  • Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels.
  • Foster a culture of safety through communication and awareness initiatives.

• Bilingual Communication:
  • Communicate EHS policies, procedures, and updates to employees in both German and English.
  • Translate documents and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 3 to 5years of experience in EHS coordination, preferably in industrial field.
• Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and best practices.
• Certification in EHS or related field is a plus.
